We were too busy on 4/20 to celebrate. So we started Wednesday night in the hotel lobby and haven't stopped. It's Friday now. The party moves to HQ tonight and runs through Saturday. You're welcome to catch up.
The hotel lobby bar. You know the one — recessed lighting, white marble, those tall chairs nobody sits comfortably in. A TV on mute showing CNN. The bartender polishing glasses that are already clean. It's quiet, it's sterile, it smells like nothing.
Then the crew showed up. One by one, filling the barstools and the couches nearby. The elevator music still playing overhead, but now there's laughter over it. The bartender's actually busy. The lobby that was built for silence got loud — the good kind of loud.
The hotel bar tonight. Maybe Hangar 24 Friday afternoon. Then a big shebang Friday night. This party doesn't end — it just changes venues.

A sterile hotel lobby bar. White marble, recessed lighting, CNN on mute. The kind of place that's usually dead by 9pm. Not tonight.
Elevator music nobody chose but everyone appreciated. The real soundtrack was the drone of a dozen conversations happening at once — all of them good.
4/20 was a workday. We did our jobs. Then we started celebrating Wednesday and frankly we're still going. Friday night at HQ, rolling into Saturday.
Jovial. That's the only word for it. Everybody loose, everybody laughing, the kind of collective good mood that makes a random hotel lobby feel like the best place on earth.
Hotel lobby bar → Hangar 24 Friday afternoon → the big shebang Friday night. Keep up.
